Shovel Knight amiibo Details Released by Yacht Club Games

Everyone has been waiting for the Shovel Knight amiibo. Now, it actually has a release date. Shovel Knight will NOT be coming out this year in North America as the amiibo website said. Instead, it will be coming out next year, on January 8, because of supply issues. It will be coming out in Europe on the 11th of this month. Yacht Club Games has advised to not import the Shovel Knight amiibo or pay higher than MSRP for it, because there will be plenty of stock on release. The in-game amiibo features won't be available in your area unless the Shovel Knight amiibo is our, so you can't import the amiibo and use the amiibo features early.

Chibi-Robo amiibo Review

Written by DDD&Watch

Chibi-Robo, the robot who does chores, recently had his first platformer released, and it comes with its own amiibo. This amiibo is a great addition to anybody's collection, but it doesn't work with Super Smash Bros.

Appearance
I think that Chibi-Robo is one of the most accurate amiibo. Even though it doesn't have much detail, it looks just like Chibi-Robo. When it hasn't been in your hands for a while, it actually feels a lot like metal, and his cord feels just like an older computer cord. The texture on his base is nice, and the dark red on the bottom of the base is a nice change from the black on the Super Smash Bros. amiibo. The only problem I have with this amiibo is that his hands are connected to little black circles on the plug, which aren't supposed to be there. You can only see it if you look closely though.

Tons of amiibo Announced

During the recent Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced many new amiibo, including Lucas, Wolf Link, Gold Mega Man, and more Animal Crossing amiibo. Resetti, Blathers, Celeste, and Kicks were all announced in Japan a while ago, but this is their first announcement in North America. They also announced a gold version of Mega Man, which is exclusive to a special edition of Mega Man Legacy Collection on the 3DS. A Wolf Link amiibo was also announced, and will be exclusive to a bundle with the recently confirmed The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD.

Retro 3-pack amiibo Review

Written by DDD&Watch

The Retro 3-pack has two of my favourite Super Smash Bros. characters in it, so I had to buy it. It's exclusive to Gamestop, or EB Games. Because all three of the characters included are very minor, very unimportant characters, and not from a major franchise I thought they were going to be extremely rare, and I lined up to preorder it. Not very many people preordered it, and later it was available for preorder on their website, even though it was supposed to be in-store only. It turned out to be very easy to find when it came out, and you can probably still find it in store now. Here are some pictures of the box, then I'll move on to reviews for the individual amiibo in the 3-pack:
This is so big!!

Olimar amiibo Training Guide

Written by DDD&Watch

Olimar is one of the most underused characters in Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS. If you have an Olimar amiibo, and absolutely on idea how to play as Olimar, then this guide will show you how to make your Olimar amiibo one of your best.

Olimar amiibo Review

Written by DDD&Watch

Olimar is one of my best characters on Super Smash Bros., so he was one of my must-haves. He isn't very rare, and we even found a bunch at a Toys R Us the next day.

Olimar looks amazing. I knew that he would look good, because of pictures from the Japanese release, but I didn't expect him to look as good as he actually does. His helmet feels a lot like glass, which is cool but also feels very weird. My red and yellow Pikmin's eyes aren't perfect, but still very good. The gold bases for the Pikmin are a little bigger than I thought they would be.

King Dedede amiibo Review

Written by DDD&Watch

Overview: The King Dedede Amiibo is a lot heavier than most Amiibo. He has lots of large connections to the stand, and will probably not break unless you try to take him off.

How to Prepare for the Rest of Wave 5

Written by DDD&Watch

The fifth wave of Super Smash Bros. amiibo releases tomorrow. What do you need to know to find them all? Everything you need's right here.

Shovel Knight amiibo Announced

Written by DDD&Watch

Shovel Knight is getting his own amiibo, and its the first amiibo from an indie game. It will be released sometime this year, but the exact release date is unknown.

It will unlock a two-player co-operative mode in Shovel Knight for Wii U, and adds a ton of new things to Shovel Knight for Wii U and 3DS. Yacht Club Games will be handling the production of the Shovel Knight amiibo, so there might not be very many supply problems.

Mega Yarn Yoshi Announced

Written by DDD&Watch

Nintendo recently announced that they will be making a giant version of the normal green Yarn Yoshi. It will be $40 US dollars, and about seven inches tall. It will be released on the 27th of November.

Don't Worry if You Didn't Preorder the Retro 3-pack

Written by DDD&Watch

The Gamestop and EB Games exclusive Retro 3-pack, which includes R.O.B., Mr. Game and Watch, and Duck Hunt was available for preorder a while ago in store only. But if you weren't able to preorder one, don't worry. It's still available right now on Gamestop's website. It will come out on September 25th, and will probably be pretty easy to find in stores on release date.

Tingle costume for Mario Maker

Recently a picture of Tingle on Mario Maker has been announced. This is only possible if there is a new Legend of Zelda amiibo series, Tingle is DLC for SSB4, or there is a in game costume shop.
Hopefully we will get a Legend of Zelda amiibo series.

Palutena amiibo Review

When I first heard that Palutena was going to be an Amazon exclusive I though I had no chance of getting one. It went on five minutes late, and I got it right when it went on. Surprisingly it was still on 2 hours later. It shipped in about 2 days. The box was almost in perfect condition (see picture below) it just had a few scratches in the inside. Currently she is worth $40.00 Canadian or $29.00 U.S.

Palutena in the box.

What You Need to Know for Dark Pit's Release in North America

Written by DDD&Watch

Dark Pit is releasing tomorrow, and his release is easily one of the most confusing amiibo releases ever. So to help you out, our guide will tell you where you can find him tomorrow.

5 Things You Need to Know About Palutena's Release Next Week

Written by DDD&Watch

Palutena will be releasing next week, and her release will be a little bit different than other releases. Take a look at these five things, and if you follow these instructions, you will probably be able to get your hands on one.

Palutena Isn't Available Anywhere in Stores, Only Available at Amazon

The Palutena amiibo was almost confimed to not be exclusive to one store, but the truth is worse than that. Palutena is only available at Amazon in North America, which makes her the first online only amiibo. Robin and Lucina, from the last wave of amiibo released in May, sold out in 30 seconds at Amazon, which is bad news for anyone wanting Palutena. She will be released one week earlier than Dark Pit, on the 24th of July. There is no information currently on preorders.

New Amiibo Announced at E3 2015

In September there will be 12 different amiibo coming out. Near December, 2 amiibo Mewtwo and Falco will be released. Lucas, Roy, and Ryu will come in early 2016. Also there will be a Japanese exclusive Famicon R.O.B amiibo. There will be new Animal Crossing amiibo plus Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer amiibo cards. Two new Mario Maker amiibo, and other amiibo will work with Super Mario Maker. Here is a list of the new amiibo:

Mewtwo amiibo Shown For the First Time at San Diego Comic Con

The Mewtwo amiibo was officially announced during the Super Smash Bros. New Content Approaching Nintendo Direct, but wasn't actually shown until now. Mewtwo is set to release holiday 2015, along with Falco.

Super Mario Maker amiibo Support Revealed at E3 2015

Super Mario Maker, formerly known as Mario Maker, has been shown to be compatible with amiibo, as well as having two amiibo of its own. Super Mario Maker introduces a new item called the Mystery Mushroom, which will change you into a random character that you have a costume for. You can unlock costumes by tapping an amiibo of that character to the Wii U gamepad, but you will be able to unlock costumes other ways too.

Possible Exclusive Wave 5 amiibo

The new, recently updated amiibo display at stores features Ganondorf, Zero Suit Samus, and Olimar as upcoming amiibo, but not Dr. Mario, Dark Pit, Palutena, Bowser Jr., or the Light Blue Yarn Yoshi. They could possibly be only available at specific retailers. Target has already confirmed that it will have an exclusive in wave 5, and Dark Pit is exclusive to Best Buy. These might be the rarest of wave 5 along with Zero Suit Samus, so prepare yourself.

Dark Pit Now on Best Buy.com, Not Available Yet

Dark Pit is now on Best Buy's website, but isn't found if you search for him. You'll need to go directly to the URL to find him. Here it is.

Chibi-Robo: Zip Lash Coming Later This Year With Its Own amiibo

Chibi-Robo: Zip Lash was recently announced for, and will be released in in North America and Japan, and November for Europe and Australia. A Chibi-Robo amiibo was also announced, and it will be exclusively available bundled with the game. In game, the amiibo will make you golden and make your powers improve. You will also be able to level up your amiibo, but it isn't known what this will do yet.

Canadian Walmart Wave 4 Findings

Today we went to Walmart for the release of wave 4, but we didn't arrive very early. We parked there about five minutes before the store opened, and there were around ten people in line. A few people arrived after us, but we were still near the back of the line.

(Canadian Reminder) Most Walmart getting around 15 Jigglypuff amiibo

Canadian Reminder 2: Walmart Jigglypuff Stock

Reports from Walmart say that they are getting around 15 or more. We called one Walmart and they were getting 15 Jigglypuff. The Jigglypuff selection isn't as good as Target's 50 Jigglypuffs.

May 29th Survival Guide

Written by MetaK5000

May, 29th will be one of the busiest days in my life! Wave 4, Silver Mario, and Splatoon amiibo in the same day! I will be focusing on Jigglypuff the most.

Survival Tip 1: If you want the amiibo very bad, call stores for the amiibo that you wan't, once you found one with the right amiibo, arrive there at least 5 minutes before it opens.

Smash DLC: A look at Lucas's moveset

Lucas is a upcoming DLC for Super Smash Bros. for Wii u and 3ds. With Lucas being better than Ness on brawl it seems like he might be the best character on this smash. He can grab the ledge with his grab while airborne. His down throw can bury opponents. Most of his attacks can have multiple hits. His PK Thunder can be used for combos. His PK Fire only has one his. His back air has meteor effect. His up smash seems to K.O very easily, and just like Ness his side smash can reflect projectiles and it is also faster. Up tilt is just a little kick upward with both feet. Down smash can heal and act like a shield. Side tilt also has multiple hits. PK Freeze is faster than Ness's. Here is his trailer:

Unlockable amiibo costumes for Yoshi's Woolly World

Nintendo UK published a new video for Yoshi's Woolly World and showed new amiibo support. There will be costumes for the following: Bowser Jr., Olimar, Ganondorf, Palutena, Dark Pit, Zero Suit Samus, Ness, Pac-Man, Wario, Robin, Lucina, Meta Knight, King Dedede, Mega Man, Sonic, Captain Falcon, Shulk, Marth, Sheik, Toon Link, Bowser, Rosalina, Little Mac, Shulk, Pit, Luigi and Zelda. There are no traces of Pokemon amiibo or the Toad amiibo.

Bowser Amiibo Training Guide

Bowser is usually not very good against other amiibo, and is one of the harder amiibo to train, but Bowser can become a monster if you train him right.

More amiibo Prototypes Pop Up on eBay.

Written by: MetaK5000

Some more prototype amiibo are being sold on eBay. They don't contain any NFC chips so you can't use them. Here are a list of them:

I bet when this is released there will be LOTS of customs. (He is cutting his thumb XD)

Reminder: Marth is Possibly Restocked on the 29th!

Marth one of the rarest amiibo ever! He is going to be restocked on the 29th along with the release of the Splatoon amiibo, Silver Mario, and wave 4! Hopefully Walmart will get them on the 29th so I can bring him home with Jigglypuff also. Don't expect him to be there long, he will only last a minute!

R.O.B amiibo Prototype Leak!

Written by: MetaK5000

An amiibo of R.O.B might be soon. A Reddit user got a R.O.B amiibo prototype, it is all grey but there are some awesome details. It is unknown is he is going to get different colours for America and Japan, this could be the first amiibo with different colours in different parts of the world. I wonder if it has the NFC chip... And now for the pictures:

Peach amiibo Training Guide

Written by MetaK5000:            FOR REVIEW CLICK HERE

Peach amiibo are always good for some reason, it could be just how good the CPUs are... or some other weird reason. One of the best abilities that Peach has is to float. If you use it right above the ground you are invincible to grabs. With Peach's floating plus her aerials you are almost unstoppable! Peach amiibo should learn how to master their aerials. First is the forward air.
With incredible power (about 14%) and great knockback, Peach's forward air is incredible. This is Peach's quickest strong attack. Use it while floating in the air, to do it easily hold down while jumping then you will automatically float. Peach's neutral and back air are the only other good ones. Up air does only about 9% it has multiple hits so it could even do worse if you only hit with 2 or 1 of the hits. Down air doesn't do very much knockback and does a little bit more damage than her up air, and also had multiple hits.

Rumor: 57,008 Jigglypuff amiibo coming to Targets in the US

The Jigglypuff amiibo, there are going to be 57,008 in the US that is about 30 Jigglypuff amiibo per store. It seems like Jigglypuff won't be so rare as the pre orders showed us. Jigglypuff will launch on 5/13/2015 (May 29 2015).

More Information on Yoshi`s Woolly World amiibo Compatibility

More information regarding Yoshi`s Woolly World amiibo compatibility has been announced.
  • The Green, Pink, and Light Blue Yarn Yoshi will let you play with an AI controlled Yoshi, and you can save a Yoshi costume.
  • The Super Smash Bros. and Super Mario Series Yoshi amiibo will let you play with an AI controlled Yoshi
  • Other amiibo will unlock costumes for Yoshi. Only Mario, Luigi, and Peach have been confirmed to unlock costumes for Yoshi.
Yoshi`s Woolly World and the three Yarn Yoshi amiibo will be released next month in Europe and Australia, and sometime this Fall in North America.

Silver Mario Amiibo Probably Available on May 29

The Silver Mario amiibo has been found in the systems of Toys R Us, Best Buy, and the release date is May 29th. Splatoon, the Splatoon series of amiibo, and the 4th wave of Super Smash Bros. amiibo will be released on May 29 as well. Because Silver Mario has been found in the systems of more than one retailer, Silver Mario probably will not be exclusive to a certain store.

Reminder: Villager and Marth are Changed

Written by: Metak5000

Villager and Marth amiibo are being changed when they get restocked. Villagers eyes are being lowered, and the mouth and nose are being separated a little.  Marth's face is going to be changed and also the position of his hair.

(Canadian Reminder) Jigglypuff Amiibo exclusive to Walmart in Canada

Canadian Reminder: Jigglypuff exclusive in Canada

Walmart has confirmed that the Jigglypuff amiibo is exclusive to Walmart in Canada. In the US, Jigglypuff is exclusive to Target. But because Target closed down in Canada, Jigglypuff is exclusive to Walmart. There were a few preorders available at weird hours, with tons of cancellations.

Reminder: Did You Miss Greninja Preorders?

The Greninja amiibo was available for preorder today at Toys R Us, but only in stores. By now they're probably all gone...
